Pricing: All pricing is in NZ dollars unless otherwise stated. 

Tour commentary: All tour commentary is in English. With sufficient notice we can arrange a translator for a bespoke tour. 

Maximum of 11 persons per tour. 

Child Rates: Our child rate is for children 2-11 years of age inclusive 

Infants up to the age of 2 are free of charge for all our tours, but the bus must be a bespoke booking. 

Refund policy: No refunds within 24 hours of departure. 50% refund 48 hours before departure. Full refund 7 days before departure.  

Client confirmation of tours will be received within 2 hours of booking, subject to availability of tour. 

Terms & Conditions:  Both the Operator and any Agent (including their respective employees, agents, officers and directors) exclude, to the fullest extent possible under law, all and any liability for any loss, damage or injury (whether direct or indirect or consequential, however arising) suffered by the Guest or any person associated with the Guest in relation to the booked activity. All activities have elements of risk and all guests undertaking any Activity do so voluntarily and at their own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties, representations and implied terms are also excluded. The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity at its discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons: a) waterway, road or weather conditions; b) lack of numbers participating in the Activity; c) unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the Activity; d) any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator. All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all time. 

These terms are subject to rights and remedies you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 2003. 

Miscellaneous  

Weather: We operate in most weather conditions, so please dress appropriately. If we consider the weather conditions dangerous to our passengers’ health and safety, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the tour with a full refund to passengers in the case of cancellation. 

Luggage Policy: Capacity for luggage in the bus is limited therefore we limit each passenger to one item of hand luggage. 

  • Please declare items of value (including documents such as passports) that will be stowed with your baggage to the driver before the tour begins. 
  • No hazardous objects to be stowed (flammable, toxic or pressurised). 
  • Mark your baggage clearly with identification to avoid confusion.

Claims for compensation must be received by Olie’s Travels within 7 days of the date of travel. 

To make a claim please provide full details and time and date of journey.
